Khongoryn Els Sand dunes: Khongoryn Els Sand Dune is a beautiful, highest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. The Khongoryn els sand dunes is located in Sevrei sum, South Gobi province. These dunes are Located to the foot of the high Altai Mountains range, the dunes are up to 300m high, 12km wide and about 100km long on the northern part of the mountains of Sevrei and Zuulun Mountain. The Dune called “Duut Mankhan”
Yoly am valley : The Yoliin Am Canyon is one of the great canyon in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National park. Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National park is located in Umnugovi province, Mongolia. The Gobi Gurvan Saikhan is end of the Altai Mountain Range. Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park which is a strictly protected area, covering 70sq.kms. The National park was estamblished in 1965. There are many a beautiful valleys in the National park. Yolyn am Canyon is most popular and beautiful one.

Day 1
White stupa (Tsagaan Suvarga)
We’ll drive to the Tsagaan Suvarga escarpment, located in Ulziit soum, Dundgovi Province. This impressive natural formation features sheer cliffs rising about 30 meters high and stretching approximately 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years, wind and erosion have shaped the striking landscape. It is an excellent place to take photographs and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views.
Day 2
Yolyn Am Ice Valley
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Yolyn Am, a spectacular canyon located in the heart of the Gobi Desert within Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, a strictly protected area. The surrounding Gurvan Saikhan Mountains are among the highest mountains in the Gobi Desert, offering dramatic rocky scenery and beautiful landscapes. The canyon is especially interesting in early summer, when ice can remain in the gorge. Yolyn Am is also home to a variety of wildlife, including endangered snow leopards, argali sheep, ibex, and Lammergeiers (Bearded Vultures). We’ll walk approximately 3 km through the narrow valley before returning to the minivan along the same route.
Day 3
Khongoryn Els Sand Dune
We’ll drive approximately 195 km to the Khongoryn Els Sand Dunes, one of the largest and most spectacular sand dune areas in Mongolia. Also known as the Duut Mankhan (“Singing Dunes”), they are famous for the unique sound produced when the sand is moved by the wind. The dunes can reach up to 200 meters high, stretch approximately 12 km wide, and extend for about 120 km. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy the beautiful panoramic views and explore the impressive sand dunes. We’ll also visit a cold-water spring and a river that flows into two small ponds, creating a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Gobi Desert.
Day 4
Camel riding at Khongor Sand dune
We’ll climb and hike to the top of Duut Mankhan (“Singing Dunes”) and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding Gobi Desert. An oasis lies near the Khongor River at the northern edge of the dunes. If you wish, you can take an optional 10 km hike along the river. We’ll also arrange a camel-riding experience on the sand dunes, followed by a chance to enjoy a beautiful Gobi Desert sunset.
Day 5
Bayan-zag flaming cliffs
After breakfast, we’ll travel approximately 150 km to Bayan Zag, also known as the “Flaming Cliffs.” The name Bayan Zag means “rich in saxaul shrubs.” The area became famous in the 1920s when American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews and his team discovered important dinosaur fossils here. We’ll explore the dramatic red cliffs and surrounding landscape, which are especially beautiful at sunset.
Day 6
Baga gazaryn Chuluu
We’ll drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a spectacular granite mountain rising to approximately 1,768 meters in Adaatsag soum, Dundgovi Province. Its unique rocky landscape is often compared to a lunar landscape. The area is home to the ruins of old temples dating back to the 17th century, as well as mineral and crystal formations and a natural spring known as the Eye Spring.
Day 7
Go back to Ulaanbaatar
We’ll drive back to UB.

The difference between comfortable tour and budget tour relates primarily to the accommodation type. Within a budget tour all accommodation will be with a nomadic family in their Ger. While a comfortable tour includes accommodation at Ger camps which are similar to a 3-4 star hotel standard. Finally the Mid-Range tour mixes Comfortable and Budget, where you will stay some nights in the traditional Ger with a nomadic family and others in a Ger camp.
